I teach in a Skoda Kamiq 1.0 TSI 110 SE L Executive 5dr petrol hatchback.
It’s a modern, comfortable and reliable car that’s ideal for learner drivers. The Kamiq is easy to handle, has excellent visibility and is fitted with the latest safety features to help you feel confident behind the wheel.
It’s also fully insured for learner drivers and fitted with dual controls for your safety and reassurance.
I currently teach manual driving lessons.
Learning in a manual car gives you the flexibility to drive both manual and automatic vehicles once you pass your test.
No — due to childcare commitments, my working hours are:
Monday & Wednesday: 7:45am – 2:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
Keeping consistent daytime hours allows me to give my learners my full focus and energy during lessons.
I’ve been known as “Panda” since I was 11, and the name has always felt like part of who I am. I even have a panda tattoo! Pandas are playful, a little clumsy at times, and full of character — which feels like a perfect match for me and the supportive, friendly experience I want to create for my learners.
I mainly teach 2-hour lessons, as I believe this gives pupils the best opportunity to learn, practise, and build real progress in one session. It allows time to introduce new skills, apply them properly, and reflect at the end — without feeling rushed.
I do also offer a limited number of 1.5-hour lessons, as some pupils find this suits their concentration levels better. Availability for shorter lessons depends on diary space.
Absolutely.
Many pupils feel nervous when they start learning to drive, and that’s completely normal. Lessons with Panda’s Pedals are calm, supportive and pressure-free.
You won’t be shouted at, rushed, or made to feel silly. We work at your pace, break things down clearly, and build confidence step by step.
Driving should feel achievable — and with the right support, it absolutely is.
There isn’t a fixed number of lessons, as everyone learns at a different pace.
My approach focuses on building strong foundations first. In your first lesson, we’ll head to a very quiet area and concentrate on the fundamentals — how to move off safely, control the car, steer accurately and understand how everything works. Feeling comfortable with these basics makes everything that follows much easier and less overwhelming.
As lessons progress, we continue building those core skills step by step. We only move on to new challenges when we both agree you’re ready. This structured approach helps lessons feel calmer, smoother and more productive.
Some pupils progress quickly, while others prefer to take a little more time to build confidence — and that’s completely normal.
My aim isn’t just to get you through a test, but to ensure you feel capable, confident and safe behind the wheel long-term.
Choosing a driving instructor is about more than just passing a test — it’s about feeling supported, understood and genuinely confident behind the wheel.
At Panda’s Pedals, lessons are calm, structured and supportive. You won’t be shouted at, rushed, or made to feel uncomfortable. We build skills step by step, starting with strong foundations so you feel in control from the very beginning.
I believe in honest feedback, clear goals and steady weekly progress. We only move forward when you feel ready — because real confidence comes from understanding, not pressure.
As a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor, and a working parent, patience, communication and reliability are at the heart of how I teach.
Passing your test is important.
But driving safely and confidently for life matters more.
